Adreena Cook is a human woman from the Midwest. She attended Kansas State University for a BFA with a concentration in Printmaking. In 2016 she graduated with an MFA from the University of Florida with a concentration in Painting, Drawing and Printmaking. Adreena likes working long hours in the studio & spending time with cats and sometimes other humans. She likes water but has trouble staying hydrated in tropical climates. Adreena dreams of being gainfully employed.
During Adreena’s internship, she worked in the papermaking studio and helped the studio manager with production and commissions. Her own work often incorporates objects such as joint compound, paper clay, found asphalt, glitter, and spray foam. Adreena also collaborated with ceramics intern Mel Doiron for a ceramic/silkscreen project.
