Pia Larsen

Pia Larsen is an interdisciplinary artist based in Sydney, Australia working in text, drawing, printmaking, paper, and metal. She received her BFA and MFA from Sydney College of Arts and is an experienced teacher in the visual arts. During her time at WSW, Pia worked on several different projects spanning both our Etching and Papermaking Studios. She created two etchings, Hindsight and Divide, reflecting on how people fit into the places and culture around them. She also created two groupings of familiar, domestic objects: Autumn Cocktails, made up of pastel pulp-coated bottles, and Welcome, a series of folded milk cartons documenting her time in Rosendale with handmade WSW paper.
