Originally from Indiana, Emma Bilyeu transferred to Savannah College of Art and Design, Atlanta, in 2013 to finish her final two years of undergraduate studies. As a recent graduate she earned BFA in printmaking and a minor in book arts in May of 2015. Emma finds bookmaking and printmaking to be appropriate means for exploring her interest in the power of communication and shared knowledge. Emma has had the pleasure of assisting in the printing of limited edition etchings for artists Ingrid Calame and Michi Meko. She is pleased to be continuing her practice at Women’s Studio Workshop as a Studio Intern.
